Chengdu citizens provide free drinks for people in need

(ECNS) -- A freezer providing free iced drinks for sanitation workers, delivery drivers, and traffic policemen was found in front of a hot pot restaurant in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan.

The shop owner Zhao Chunyan found the drinks inside are becoming more and more. After checking the surveillance video, she found quite some warm-hearted people donating drinks to refill the freezer.

In addition to the free freezer, the hot pot restaurant also set up a rest stop for sanitation workers, and free herbal tea and food for those in need. Zhao has been doing these for three consecutive years.
