Over 12,633 precious cultural relics were handed over to the cultural heritage bureau in Shanxi province Tuesday.

They were recovered in a crackdown on cultural relics-related crimes.

Among them, "Jingong Plate" dating back to Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), is listed as Class A heritage under national protection.

Another piece called "Painted Goose and Fish Lamp" is rarely seen in terms of size and delicacy.

During the crackdown, 714 cases of cultural relic-related crimes have been solved and 1,179 suspects arrested.
