Rare ruffed lemur triplets debut in Guangzhou

Triplets of black-and-white of ruffed lemur made their debut at Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou on Wednesday.

Chimelong Safari Park bred China's first ruffed lemur triplets On May 8, 2018.

It is rare for the primate to give birth to triplets worldwide.

Under the care of keepers, the three monkeys have grown strong enough to jump among trees.

The ruffed lemur is endemic to eastern Madagascar and is as rare as the giant panda.

It was added to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 2012.
