These tasty fruits are not real! 

They are made with wax by intangible culture inheritor Liu Xiuhua. 

Wax fruits require skilled use of the hands and patience, Liu said. 

Making moulds, casting, polishing, cloring… 

Each piece of art takes more than ten days to complete. 

Wax fruits date back to the Song dynasty (960–1279), when ancient people used them as lights on water. 

Artificial foods are seen in films, shop windows and trade fairs nowadays.
