Hu Linsheng, 36, is a representative knotting artist.
Hu has traveled extensively to learn and buy accessories from around China. He has lived in Altay, Xinjiang for 12 years. Hu likes Kazak patterns, which he combines into his work.
Now, Hu runs a studio from which he works and teaches knotting. Many young people come to design their own patterns and learn the craft.
