The Malaysian government on Monday released a detailed but inconclusive report on the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

The real cause for the flight’s disappearance on March 8, 2014, could not be determined, the report said.

The chief investigator Kok Soo Chon told reporters that it was not a "final report.”

But he said there was no evidence of unlawful interference.

The flight did turn back before disappearing off radars and it wasn't on autopilot, investigators found.

When asked about whether the probe continues, Kok said his team will offer to terminate the contract, saying he and his team “will have nothing to do” after visiting China to brief parliament and receive TV interviews in August.

The flight MH370 mysteriously vanished with 239 people on board while flying to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on March 8, 2014.
