Wang Yi highlights friendship, shared interests in meeting with South Korean envoy

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized the importance of maintaining friendship and expanding shared interests during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's special envoy Park Byeong-seug in Beijing on Sunday.

August 24 marks the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and South Korea.
