August 14, 2025 marks the 13th International Memorial Day for Comfort Women.

It has been 34 years since Kim Hak-sun, a survivor of Japan's wartime "comfort women", broke her silence on August 14, 1991, becoming the first victim to publicly testify about the atrocities committed by Japanese troops during WWII.

Though the number of survivors dwindles worldwide, the facts must not be buried, nor history forgotten.

Today, these women still await an apology!
