Hong Kong police on Tuesday said 171 police officers were injured on duty during recent operations against violent protests.
Among the officers, two are still hospitalized and 15 officers sustained eye injuries caused by laser beams, Tse Chun-chung, chief superintendent of the Hong Kong Police Public Relations Branch, told media.
