(ECNS) -- China decided to launch a further investigation into U.S. chip giant Nvidia after preliminary findings showed it had violated the country's anti-monopoly law, China's top market regulator said on Monday.
The statement released by China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) claimed that Nvidia's acquisition of Israeli chip designer Mellanox Technologies violated the terms of the Chinese market regulator's 2020 conditional approval of that deal.
