(ECNS) -- China successfully sent a SEO (Satellite for Earth Observation) satellite into space on Monday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China’s Shanxi province.
The SEO satellite was launched at 11:02 a.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-2C carrier rocket. The spacecraft smoothly entered its preset planned orbit after the launch, marking the complete success of the mission.
This launch marked the 664th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, according to the launch center.
