As the third China International Import Expo reaches the 100-day countdown until its opening, foreign enterprises announced they would unveil innovative products and services at the expo, Economic Information Daily reported.

The total planned exhibition area for enterprises this year is 360,000 square meters, 60,000 square meters larger than the previous edition, the expo bureau said, adding the contracted area for enterprises has already reached the planned target.

Fortune 500 enterprises, as well as industry leaders, will bring new products, technologies, and services to make their global debuts at the event.

The exhibitors' association for the expo was established on July 26. Thirty-five member enterprises, including Hyundai, Dow Chemical, Shiseido, Theland, Siemens, Michelin, and AstraZeneca, signed three-year memoranda with the CIIE Bureau, which means these companies will attend the expo for the next three years.

As a window to show China's deepening reform and opening-up to the world, the import expo provides an excellent platform and opportunity to enterprises, and links enterprises with governments and each other, said Hong Chow, general manager of Roche Pharma China, adding the company will reinforce long-term cooperation with the expo and bring more innovative products and solutions to Chinese customers.

Cosmetic giant L'Oreal, also a member enterprise of the exhibitors' association, will not only launch new products this year, but also make global debuts for its new concepts, new scenes, and new solutions of beauty consumption based on the demand of Chinese beauty makeup consumers, the company said.
