China's achievements in its development over the past decades are impressive, and other countries also look with great interest to know if they can emulate China's experience, said Professor Richard Caplan from the University of Oxford to China News Network on Sunday.
China has been committed to maintaining stability in the Asia-Pacific region and managing differences peacefully, which is very commendable, the professor added.
Caplan made the remarks during an exclusive interview to News Lounge during the Tongzhou Global Development Forum hosted by Renmin University of China.
Caplan said that 2026 marks the fifth anniversary of the Global Development Initiative, and the initiative's appeal is evident to all.
