A flock of whooper swans was spotted dancing in the rays at the national nature reserve for whooper swans in Rongcheng City, east China's Shandong Province on Wednesday.

With the arrival of the peak migration period, nearly 3,000 whooper swans have arrived at the nature reserve to spend the upcoming winter this year.

Rongcheng has been a main winter-home for whooper swans in the world. Every winter, whooper swans migrate from places and stay at the bay in Rongcheng, making it the largest wintering ground of whooper swans in Asia.
