(ECNS) -- A team of 14 medical experts from Fujian Province departed on a chartered flight to Italy on Wednesday morning.
Also on board the plane were about 8 tons of medical supplies donated by the province.
The team will share experience in COVID-19 prevention and control with local hospitals and experts.
They will also provide disease prevention and control know-how to Chinese communities and students in Italy.
Previously, China had sent two medical groups with a total of 22 people along with more than 20 tons of medical supplies to the European country.
