5.7-magnitude quake hits Tonga Islands Region -- GFZ

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Tonga Islands Region at 2330 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 19.10 degrees south latitude and 172.40 degrees west longitude.
