The Saga Dawa Festival honoring the life of Buddha is celebrated on the 15th day of the 4th Tibetan month, which falls on May 31 this year, and is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated in Tibet. Buddhists on this day usually goes to temples, raise a prayer pole and light butter lamps.
