(ECNS)--The U.S. is dealing with "an alphabet soup of omicron subvariants"– BA.5, BA.4.6, BQ.1.1, BQ.1, BF.7, BA.2.75.2, BA.2.75 and BA.4, –as it approaches a potential fall and winter coronavirus wave, according to the U.S. News and World Report. A joint opinion published by Time recently said that the U.S. government's failure to push for better pandemic measures will cost the lives and health of many Americans.
The United States has reported a total of 97 million COVID-19 infections and over 1 million deaths, as the third winter with the virus is approaching. The U.S. government's failed response to the pandemic and its continued aversion to the ongoing failure, has left its people with illness.
