FAST telescope discovers biggest atomic cloud ever (1/1)

Photo released on Oct. 20, 2022 shows an enormous atomic gas cloud discovered by pointing an ultra-powerful radio telescope with the help of FAST telescope towards Stephan's Quintet, a well-known grouping of galaxies. The cloud, made up of hydrogen atoms, measures about 2 million light years across and is 20 times larger than our Milky Way galaxy. (Photo provided to China News Service)
