China also continued to expand its share of the high-end vessel market. Its share of global orders for very large crude carriers reached 85.5%, while orders for container ships with capacities of at least 10,000 TEUs accounted for 82.7% of the global total.

Chinese shipbuilders secured 71 new orders for car carriers during the period, representing 97.2% of the global total.

In addition, China's competitiveness in green shipbuilding also continued to strengthen, with Chinese shipyards securing more than 70% of global orders for green vessels.
