Canadian professor: Unlike the West, China is willing to share and never meddles in other countries' affairs

(ECNS) -- China has been committed to share technology with the rest of the world, whereas the West seeks to monopolize technology and build walls around its technology, noted Prof. Radhika Desai from the Department of Political Science at the University of Manitoba, Canada.

At the 2026 Tongzhou Global Development Forum hosted by Renmin University of China, she was invited to join News Lounge by China News Network.

On the topic of Global Development Initiative, she pointed out whatever assistance and support it provides, China does not dictate how other countries run their own affairs.
