(ECNS) -- The 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition opened in Chongqing on Saturday, drawing more than 50,000 visitors on its first day and setting a new attendance record for the country’s leading motorcycle trade event.
This year’s exhibition features the largest scale in its history, covering 190,000 square meters with over 1,120 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. It gathers more than 2,500 international professional buyers from over 80 nations for supply-chain matchmaking sessions, while live-streaming platforms promote “Made in China” innovations to a global audience.
Leading brands including Zhang Xue Motorcycle (ZXMOTO), Benda, Voge, Honda and CFMOTO unveiled 39 new products, spanning high-end cruisers, adventure motorcycles and automotive-grade intelligent systems. The exhibition also features 67 advanced technologies in areas including AI-powered interaction, intelligent powertrains and smart suspension systems, 20 of which address gaps in domestic technology.
Beyond industry deals, the event is a festival for enthusiasts. Over 2,000 rider clubs gathered, participating in custom bike contests, stunt shows, and cultural pop-ups. The exhibition, which includes a forum themed “Breakthrough and Innovation,” runs through Sept. 22.
