(ECNS) -- The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo opened on Thursday in Nanning, capital of south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
This year’s event has attracted more than 3,400 companies from over 70 countries and regions. Notably, Timor-Leste is participating as a co-organizer for the first time, bringing all 11 ASEAN member states together in Nanning for the first time since the bloc’s expansion.
The expo has also introduced a dedicated “ASEAN Countries’ Demand Exhibition Area” for the first time, using intelligent matchmaking technology to help businesses identify potential partners and opportunities more efficiently.
The 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit also opened in Nanning on Thursday.
