Shanghai Pudong Airport opens 110squaremeter infant care space

(ECNS) -- Shanghai Pudong International Airport opened a new family space Wednesday near Gate C77 in Terminal 2, offering more than 110 square meters of facilities for travelers with infants and toddlers.

The area includes private family rooms for infant care, feeding chairs, foodprep stations, changing tables and childsized toilets, with rounded corners and other safety features. A 65squaremeter play zone features interactive facilities, while enclosed seating near the boarding gate gives parents a quieter place to wait. A flightthemed console lets children play at being pilots.

Pudong Airport has 107 baby care rooms across its two terminals, including two rated at Shanghai’s highest five-star level. This summer, it has also introduced family strollers and opened two pediatric clinics in its satellite concourses in cooperation with Shanghai Children’s Medical Center.
