Township-level express postal network established in China

(ECNS) -- The express postal service covering townships nationwide has been basically established in China.

Postal services are available in more than 500,000 administrative villages and 128 border and coastal defense posts in China, with over 80 percent of administrative villages accessible to express services.

At present, China has postal routes of more than 10 million kilometers in total, express service network of more than 40 million kilometers, and 413,000 postal express outlets.

The postal express industry in China continues to improve this year and it is estimated that the volume of express delivery business would increase by about 4.2 percent in the first three quarters.
