China says it has cloned a monkey using non-reproductive cells(25/25)

Muming Poo (L), a co-author on the study who directs the Institute of Neuroscience of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, Sun Qiang (C), director of the non-human-primate research facility under CAS, and Liu Zhen, a postdoctoral fellow and the first author of the research paper published on Cell, attend a press conference in Beijing, capital of China, on Jan. 24, 2018. China on Thursday announced it successfully cloned world's first macaques from somatic cells by method that made Dolly.
