Wuyi Mountains in Yanshan County added to world heritage list(5/7)

Mount Huanggang, the southeast slope of the main peak of Wuyi Mountains in Yanshan County, rises to about 2,160 meters above sea level. The UNESCO World Heritage Committee approved expansion of Mount Wuyi on the World Heritage List, both natural and cultural, at a meeting in Poland, July 9, 2017. The mountains have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for cultural, scenic and biodiversity values since 1999.
