Corpses of 17 newborn Przewalski's gazelle (Procapra przewalskii) have been found in a forest in Gangca county, Haibei Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Northwest China’s Qinghai province, July 27, 2015. Local police say this is the largest mass death of Przewalski's gazelle in recent years. As early as 1999, the species was listed as critically endangered, and they are only found around Qinghai Lake in China. The less than one-month-old gazelles are thought to have drowned in a 1.25-meter-wide, water-filled ditch that was too large for the young animals to jump over. (Photo/CFP)
