(W.E. Talk) European scholar: China-Europe Railway Express becomes the blood vessel for Europe's economic development

This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. In the latest W.E. Talk, Hussein Askary, vice-chairman of the Belt and Road Institute in Sweden, noted that EU-China relations have become increasingly important—especially in economic, scientific, and cultural exchange.

Despite geopolitical tensions, the China-Europe Railway Express continues to operate steadily, serving as a vital artery for the EU economy. The Swedish IF Metall union even stated that rising worker salaries are thanks to high-quality intermediate goods imported from China,according to Askary, and this is a clear example of win-win cooperation between China and the EU.
