St. Patrick's Day parade was held in Toronto, Canada on Sunday. A Chinese dragon dance team became a bright spot in the parade.

In keeping with the theme of St. Patrick's Day, a green dragon made an appearance. Accompanied by dynamic music, the green dragon flew up and down, full of energy, winning the applause of the audience.

A large crowd from the local Irish, and many other ethnic communities participated in this annual festive parade.

On the St. Patrick's Day each year, the Irish celebrate the memory of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland. It takes place each year on March 17 and has transformed from a day of feasting in the 17th century into a variety of festivals across the globe celebrating Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing and a whole lot of green.
