Animal keepers in zoos across China are helping their dwellers to stay cool amid a scorching heatwave.

At Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, keepers feed fresh fruits and vegetables to the polar bears, including watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and more. Ice cubes are thrown into the pools for sea lions and seals so that they could enjoy an icy bath.

At Royal Ocean Park in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province, keepers prepare refreshing fruit ice cubes for polar bears. Tigers are fed with frozen meat for cooling down.

At Qinling Wildlife Park in Shaanxi Province, keepers prepare ice blocks to help giant pandas fend off the heatwave.
