A middle school in Sagya County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region held various activities on Wednesday.

These activities are aimed to foster students' interests, promote their all-round development, as well as inherit and protect the traditional culture.

There are 49 clubs in the school at present, members of which were selected from grade one and two junior school students according to their respective specialties and interests.

The school has set up clubs including folk musical instruments club, Yangqin (Chinese Hammered Dulcimer) club and Tibetan opera club. It also opened computer club, reading club, modern dance club and guitar club which are deeply favored by teenagers.

These activities not only enrich the campus life, but also strengthen the education of the school.
