Russia welcomes Chinese President Xi Jinping for state visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping is due in Moscow shortly at the start of a state visit from March 20 to 22 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Banners saying "Warmly Welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping" in both Chinese and Russian were hanging high on the streets of Moscow ahead of Xi's arrival on Monday local time.
