A handover ceremony between a tiger cub and a rabbit was held at Yunnan Wildlife Park in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Monday to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year.
Witnessed by the keepers, the tiger cub and the rabbit pressed their footprints and passed the baton.
This year, 2023, is the Year of the Rabbit - fourth in line on the Chinese zodiac, while the last year was the Year of the Tiger.
Yunnan Wildlife Park has set up a special rabbit-themed exhibition hall, in which there are about 30 rabbits of four kinds, namely the Lop-eared Rabbit, the Dwarf Rabbit, the Polish Rabbit and the Dodge Rabbit. It will meet the public during the Spring Festival holiday.
