Harbin Ice-Snow World ready to open to the public

(ECNS) -- The annual ice-snow gala in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, enters its 23rd year in 2021.

The theme is "Bring the Winter Games to the World" this year.

Giant seracs are seen everywhere inside the ice-snow park.

A 42-meter-tall main tower promoting the 2022 Winter Olympics was built with 20,000 cubic-meter ice cubes.

Twenty-four podium-shaped icicles of the main tower spiral upward, looking like Olympic flame.

The number "24" echoes the 24th Winter Olympics in 2022, while the upward spiral echoes the Olympics spirit of inspiring people to forge ahead.

A three-dimensional logo of the 2022 Winter Olympics was erected at the entrance.

Ice-snow designs with winter Olympic features will provide tourists an immersive visual experience.

Construction of main bodies has concluded, while some detailed carvings are still under way.

This year's Ice-snow World will start trial operation on Dec. 25.

Tourists shall abide by safety rules while visiting the park in staggered intervals.
