World's highest wind farm generates electricity in China's Tibet (1/3)

The first batch of units of the Zhegu Wind Power Project began to generate electricity on Wednesday, making a breakthrough in the field of ultra-high altitude wind power development. The project has a total installed capacity of 22 MW and includes 10 wind turbines and a 110 kV booster station.
