(ECNS) -- Lanzhou Shuimo Danxia Scenic Area is known as the "golden treasure house of tourism resources" on the Silk Road.
Different sunshine and weather conditions have created unique landforms on its sunny and shady slopes, which are mainly orange and dark green respectively.
The landform, with a history of 150 million years, has been unknown to the world until recent years because of its isolated environment.
It opened to the public in 2021.
