(ECNS) -- A 3-year-old child fell into the nearly frozen Zhegu Lake in Comai County, Shannan City on Friday.
Witnesses Yeshe Ozhu and Nyima Tsering created a path in the frozen surface with their arms.
Ten minutes later, the child was rescued from drowning.
Residents prepared hot water for the young men after the rescue.
