Industry standard of the famous Lanzhou beef noodle soup was published by Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup association at the 2018 China Noodle Expo on Saturday, reports Chinanews.com.

The stipulated standard requires that the ratio of raw soup to water should not be greater than 1: 2. In addition, an online data center for Lanzhou beef noodle soup has been launched. It enables the public to verify the authenticity of their noodles by scanning QR codes through WeChat, the Chinese social media app.

Other requirements such as storefront standards, service standards, operating standards, safety standards for Lanzhou beef noodles have been stipulated.

Lanzhou beef noodle soup originates from Lanzhou, capital city of northwest China's Gansu Province. It is the daily stable food of Lanzhou locals. Its rich flavor is loved across China making it a symbol of the city of Lanzhou.
