Chinese prosecutors on Tuesday filed indictments against Red-Yellow-Blue (RYB), one of China's biggest early education institutes, over alleged child abuse.
Last November, preschool children at the RYB Education New World kindergarten in Chaoyang District were reportedly sexually molested, pierced by needles and given unidentified pills.
The child abuse scandal stirred public outrage in late 2017 and prompted an inspection of daycare centers across the country
A female teacher, surnamed Liu, was arrested last December on suspicion of abusing children at the kindergarten.
