According to the latest data released by the British Council of the British Embassy in China during a press conference on December 15, more Chinese students choose to go to the UK to study.
This year around 73,000 Chinese students have succeeded in applying for a British visa, which is an increase of nine percent compared with last year.
Statistics also show that there are currently over 150,000 Chinese students studying in the UK. Over the past five years, business and engineering are the most popular majors. Creative arts and design, media and information, and architecture and planning are three areas that have seen the greatest increase of Chinese learners.
