Chinese police have busted two drug rings in north and southwest China.

The public security bureau (PSB) in Kunming, in the southwest province of Yunnan, announced on Friday that they had confiscated more than 17 kilograms of crystal meth in a recent crackdown, with four suspects apprehended.

Elsewhere, the PSB in Xingtang County, Hebei Province, on Friday said it had seized 5,715 processed crystal meth pills in a four-month clamp-down, nabbing five suspects.

Further investigation into the cases are under way.
