Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday met with Vanuatuan Prime Minister Charlot Salwai, calling on the two countries to strengthen all-round dialogue, cooperation and exchanges to advance their comprehensive strategic partnership.
Xi said China pursues no private interest or so-called "sphere of influence" in Pacific island countries, and will always be their reliable good friend and partner.
