China on Tuesday donated vehicles, equipment and supplies worth 11.73 million U.S. dollars to the Cambodia's National Election Committee (NEC).

A handover ceremony was made between Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Bo and NEC's chairman Sik Bun Hok at the NEC's warehouse in the northern outskirts of Phnom Penh.

The aid included 44 cars, 29 motorcycles, 2,400 walkie-talkies, 26 sets of video conference system, and a large number of office equipment and supplies, said Bun Hok.

According to Bun Hok, China has assisted the NEC since 1998.
