(ECNS) -- Hangzhou traffic authorities on Wednesday issued a notice, criticizing a prankster for wearing a horror mask to scare passing vehicles on the Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway.
At 4:57 p.m. Sunday, Hugo, a 42-year-old foreign teacher who works for a school in Xiaoshan District, put on the horror mask while taking his friend's car on the G25 Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway. He was seen by a vehicle traveling in the same direction and recorded with a phone, according to the notice released by the Expressway Traffic Police Detachment of Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau in Zhejiang Province.
The two cars drove alongside each other for about nine seconds, with no verbal exchange or unusual behavior observed. At 17:27, the vehicle Hugo was on exited at Hangzhou South Toll Station.
Although no one was harmed in the incident, local police located Hugo and warned him about driving safety, according to the notice.
Hugo has apologized for the incident, the notice added.
