(ECNS) -- The Exhibition Hall of the Achievements of “Yubao Project”, a China’s language resources protection project, officially opened in Changsha, Hunan Province, on Monday.

Based on the project launched in 2015 by the Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission, the exhibition hall features a massive compilation of linguistic data collected from over 1,800 survey points nationwide.

Under the theme “The River of Language, Flowing Endlessly,” the gallery showcases Chinese dialects, ethnic minority languages, and regional language cultures, marking the transition of the project’s rich database into a living, public-facing exhibition.
