(ECNS) -- Nearly 3,000 job seekers registered for more than 440 openings offered by 30 Chinese companies at the eighth Chinese Companies Recruitment Fair in Brazil, held in São Paulo on Saturday.
The participating companies came from sectors ranging from infrastructure, energy, and mining to financial services, telecommunications, smart manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics.
China has been Brazil's largest trading partner for 17 consecutive years, said Bai Chunhui, commercial counselor at the Chinese Consulate General in São Paulo. Bilateral trade reached $188 billion in 2025 and grew 16% year on year in the first half of 2026.
Emerging areas such as new-energy equipment, agricultural machinery, digital services, and green infrastructure are growing strongly and creating more high-quality, stable jobs in Brazil, Bai said.
