University teachers help students find jobs through livestreaming

(ECNS) -- Li Xiaoming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics and Management at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, is introducing students’ resumes to enterprises via livestream.

Li and others screen resumes and communicate with students before livestreaming to potential employers.

At the online livestreaming room, they contact human resources to understand their demands and give corresponding suggestions to students. Those who watch the livestreams can submit their resumes, and the project has attracted many students and parents.

"This student is very self-disciplined. Please consider carefully,” Li said during a livestream.

According to Li, the school has invited many alumni and cooperative enterprises. "Livestreaming is popular in recent years. We hope to recommend excellent students to suitable enterprises and help them find higher quality and satisfactory jobs,” he said.

Among the students recommended by teachers, three have been invited to interviews. Li said they will continue to recommend their students through livestreaming to ensure that they find jobs.
