(ECNS) ? Visitors will have an unusual view at the Beijing Museum of Natural History, where the world's biggest restored dinosaur skeleton has made its debut.

The skeleton of Ruyangosaurus, a gigantic sauropod dinosaur from the late Cretaceous Period found in Ruyang county, Henan province, stood at 38 meters long and 14.5 meters tall, according to the Beijing Times.

Pu Hanyong, curator of the Henan Geological Museum, said Ruyangosaurus is estimated to weigh about 130 tons, equal to the weight of 20 elephants.

Apart from the largest dinosaur skeleton, there is also the fossil of a dinosaur egg nearly 43 centimeters long.

"Baby Louie," a small embryonic carnivorous dinosaur discovered in Xishan county, Henan province, is also on display. One of the best-preserved dinosaur eggs in the world, it is named after Louie Psihoyos, an American photographer known for his still photography and contributions to National Geographic.

Discovered in the 1990s, "Baby Louie" was returned to China from the United States in 2013 after a 20-year absence.

Jointly organized by the Beijing Museum of Natural History and the Henan Geological Museum, the show will be open for five months.
