Travel service Mafengwo announced it had completed a $133 million series D financing round on Tuesday, domestic news site qq.com reported.
This round drew contributions from Ocean Link and Singapore-based Temasek, and it was also joined by existing investors including Capital Today and Qiming Ventures.
Since 2015, the platform has provided services to independent tourists to differentiate itself from more traditional online travel agencies such as NASDAQ-listed Ctrip.
It offers 80 million users information such as travel guides and reviews, and it provides services such as hotel reservations and local tours.
